DexYP - Closed business "contract" illegal
I closed my business. To stop paying my monthly bill they sent a "contract" for closing the business with entirely illegal terms.
Lawyer reviewed and said they had no right to demand the stated terms for closing business. Was told this "contract" would not stand up in court if challenged. I think a class action is necessary. They know that the small amount that I have to pay would not make it affordable to take legal action.
Instead, I intend to pay what I owe because they sent it to collections. But I also intend to send this so- called Going out of business contract to the Attorney General in Texas, as well to the Attorney General in Connecticut where I had my business. It's been over a year and they still have my business posted up on the internet causing me continued grief. Don't do business with DEXYP!
You don't need it anyway.

Exactly what my lawyer said. The terms are ludicrous. I will also contact the Kansas Attorney General.
