DexYP - Illegal contact agreement
I am a small business owner, I had difficulty with Dexyp in the past. My Dexyp representative came in and said they have new and improved services so she showed me Thryv, I was reluctant so she said we can do a 6 month trial, well the trial period was up so I was under the assumption we were on a month to month basis, in the mean time I found a company that could better suit our needs.
It took 2 weeks for her to contact us ( that was after we had to contact her boss) and she said I could not change our service because we were under contract! I said how is that possible I did not sign a renewal contract! She said me and my husband were busy so she had an employee sign it! I said no one had any authorization to sign a contract for me!
She said there is nothing I can do for you, you need to call customer service, so I called customer services, and they said I have a signed contract in front of me, I then said I did not tell anyone they could sign a contract on my behalf! They said anyone in my company can sign it ! !?!?! I said I donโt think so, then they said there is nothing we can do for you, you need to talk to your representative.
So they put us through to our representative boss. Who is on vacation and can not help us.
Needless to say I am not done with this yet!! They have very shady business practices

DexYP Cons: Entire experience, Being taken advantage of and lied too, Lack of customer service.

I just sent them an irate message (since it's late at night just finding out) for charging my credit card when my account is closed and for them to credit it and even more $ I should have credited!!!!!!! There's more to my *** story with this company, but I'll just leave it there, they've wasted so much of my time. Never ever be sucked in to doing business with these unaccountable people!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is exactly what happen to me, I own small computer business in Maplewood, NJ who advised the sales representative name Miriam Verner-Haddadin who came to my office and has advised her that I was not interested in digital advertising back in 2016. However DexYp inserted the $175.00 with yellow pages without telling me until my bookkeeper found it that there were charges are not suppose to be in the bill(yellow pages, now dex.yp), $175.00/month digital advertising.
I want all my money back with any way I can, for example TV, kane in your corner, Better Business bureau, and Consumers affairs.
i also send the invoice to DexYp for 23 months. Please Spread this to any SOCIAL MEDIA, ANY MEDIA, you can tell people to be aware of this DexYp.
